Taipo Quarry Flood Protection

Inundated with flood water during the extreme rain events of 2023, this section of roadway had been left with several dropouts along its shoulder. Consisting of two separate structures, this build incorporated a point facing toe structure and a curved road edge retention structure. The finished product has reinstated the road verge and provides protection for future flooding events.
